McGraw (Cooper) TAC-142255, CL-1, CL-2, CL-2A regulator control repair

These controls look almost identical and the differences were subtle. The TAC142255 and early CL-1 controls are of a very reliable analog design. Late CL-1 and CL-2 controls were Cooper’s first microprocessor based designs. The CL-2A uses a later generation microprocessor, and has some basic user options such as sequential/non-sequential operation. Shewmaker Electronics rebuilds the analog versions, we have a replacement board for the digital versions, which upgrades them to CL-2A functionality.
